Something that has tickled my brain a couple of times in the last few
weeks is regarding expressions of opinion about employees....
I'm quite happy that a recorded opinion about employee A is personal
information about employee A and the person should have access rights to
it (as per UKIC guidance).
The problem is what happens when it is recorded in terms of another
employee, i.e. employee B thinks something about employee A ?
To my mind this is now personal information about both employees.
Employee B would be allowed access to the whole thing, but employee A
would not get access to the identity of employee B without consent (or
some other relevant cause).
Is my thinking on this correct ?
