In some cases, no. The identity needs to be proved to a higher degree where
the information being given contains sensitive or confidential data.
Companies with US head offices might ask for fingerprints, iris scan, DNA
sample and complete family history. Sorry, I'm confusing SARs with US-VISIT. :-o
