I may have missed something, but it would appear that it is easier to
share information with Connexions than with a parent. What is the age at
which a child becomes a data controller/processor and the parent stops
being a data processor/data controller? Behind all of this appears to be
an increased reliance on governmental or nongovernmental organisations to
take on the role of parents.
Yes, I am aware that some parents fail terribly in their responsibilities
and the need for governmental and nongovernmental organisations will
remain. My question is focused on the age of consent regarding data and
the apparently less ambiguous relationship between the child and
connexions than child and parent at least regarding personal data.
