Hi Julia
We had a student at Worcester a couple of years ago who was awarded a
digital hearing aid via DSA. However, his request was based on the fact
that his existing analogue model was insufficient to discriminate
between what he needed to hear in lectures/classes and the noise
generated by sniffing/coughing students, scraping chairs, etc.
My instinct (often unreliable) is that a request for a spare would, as
others have suggested, be treated with disdain.
Could be worth a try, nevertheless.
Regards
Peter Hill
