If you are putting a "real" or "quasi" academic journal on the net either put it free
or charge for it from the start. Start free, get the punters to help so you can
charge them later. Sounds like a kebab shop that drops the quality once the
number of punters (or the alcohol consumed) goes up.
What about ethical marketing. Sorry if you are getting the flack ... a good day is
turning to a bad one.

PS. Since we are on the ethics I notice a session ID or similar on the URL +
Logon requirement, you are doing (or have the potential to do) user tracking
whilst as Tim said there is no statement of what you will do with the data.
Oh well the feedback was free, it may change in the future.
