It would be nice if this were true, but it's not.
As per the letter I got from the OIC which started this thread, the OIC
are now telling companies they don't have to provide data that
doesn't fall within the narrower concept of "personal information".
In my case this included email exchanges I had with the company, and
information from an internal company system where members of staff were
commenting on work I had performed for the company, both of which,
pre-Durant, would have fallen within this.
(Both systems are completely computerised: no manual files here)
