An experience with the Post Office where the redirection sticker completely
covers the original postal address details can produce arguments supporting
the inclusion of such statements on the outside of some postal items.
The experience in question was where items for the wrong address were
redirected and opened at the redirect (incorrect) address.
Systems/processes cannot necessarily cater for all possible errors so the
basic issue appears to be that of choosing the appropriate system/process
for the purpose in hand. Some adaptation, where relevant or necessary,
could be an appropriate response, provided the necessary levels of security
are achieved.

The data subject would clearly have sufficient knowledge to properly inform
any decision process. High levels of inflexible automation generally
experience problems/growing difficulties as time passes. Most inflexible
systems do not seem to survive long.
