Surely all the list is doing is allowing the parent to get the correct
spelling of forenames in the class. The parent's child knows their
classmates names - but not how to spell them (breach of principle 4 by a 4
year-old, I think not).
Not a problem - give it out...
... or are we (the list) going to get into the no names in sports day
programmes, no names in nativity play programmes etc. etc. debate?
