The argument against tinted glasses (or an argument) is that over
time the brain compensates for the tint and as a consequence
ones percieved vision goes back to square one, albeit with a nice
pair of glasses. I also heard that the DfES take a dim view of using
the DSA to pay for tinted glasses.
