If other students expect to take notes during 'crits' and discussions
(as I suspect they do) then it is unreasonable not to allow this
student with MS to tape. Most people feel inhibited about being
taped initially, but this soon wears off. Anyway it's good practice
for becoming a talking head in later life. Perhaps they could agree
a code for stopping the tape when they want to speak with complete
lack of inhibition. Be interested to know how it works out.
