Hi Clare
Here at the University of Liverpool, I am currently working with a student
who will be studying part time and claiming incapacity benefit. What I
found most useful was to contact the students local DSS and explain the
situation fully. They told me no change would incur to the students
benefit as long as notification of the course etc. was given to the
department every year in advance of their start of term.
Hope this helps
