I was a meeting at COSLA, Edinburgh yesterday and it transpired that in
Scotland for the purpose of education records a girl can request records at
age 12 and a boy at 14. This excludes the teacher's own personal records
but includes examinations/disciplinary. Also, a parent will always have a
right of access as they have a legitimate interest.
