I have successfully obtained DSA funding for a student with
arthritis to get a bicycle (and helmet) to travel between city sites
- she didnt want a buggy and is delighted with the bike. As
Paul said, loads cheaper than Taxis and actually offers better
independence.
(The bike stays at the Uni and she travels in by other means, it
is truly solely for on-course use)
any other arcane DSA mobility examples, hot-air baloons
anyone? Unicycle?
