I notice that many people are seeking contact details for
specialist equipment and wonder if everyone is aware of the
Disabled Living Foundation? This is a national charity
whose aim is to collect and disseminate information on aids
and equipment to all who have an interest. They have a
fantastic database (DLF Data) and a free helpline service.
They can be contacted at:
380-384, Harrow Road,
London W9 2HU
Tel: 020 7289 6111 Fax: 020 7266 2922
Minicom: 020 7432 8009

Many of you who have health or rehab provision may find
that your university library already subscribes. Those of
you who don't subscribe may find you want to when you see
how much info they hold. (It's a non profit-making charity
so the subscription is to cover costs only). Hope this
helps! Bernadette Waters
