the comments are judgments about the student's opinions.
Clearly the marker would be ill advised to put things like "this is
codswallop - refer to psychiatrist", but such things do happen!
The only "neutral" non-personal comments would be ticks and crosses I
expect. Even a mark (eg "3/10" against a paragraph) is a judgment,
therefore an opinion.
