My first thoughts were along the lines of Paul Dilley's, can you use
ap-kbd.drv to get the keyboard functions but leave the Logitec mouse driver
in place to get the drag lock?
Thought number two (less elegant and only suitable for one-offs). Why not
set about the mouse with hacksaw, soldering iron, Araldite and a latching
low profile switch? Replace the right mouse button with the switch wired in
parallel with the left button. The result may be a bit ugly but no software
incompatibilities to worry about!
