Additional hardware/software to be added to your standard configuration of PC
I would recommend a Sound Blaster AWE sound card with text reading software,
'TextHelp' from Iansyst.
Text Assist comes with the Soundblaster, but does not give all the facilities
as TextHelp. It's proof reader only.
'Voice Recognition' software, DragonDictate, Kurzweil Voice or VoicePad, or
IBM Voice Type, from Iansyst or Talking Technologies Ltd.
Being Dyslexic myself I have a hand scanner, this I find excellent.
