At this institution we have guidelines for students with dyslexia
which say that a student is entitled to tape lectures. They are also
entitled to copies of lecture notes and OHP's, but we do come across
a few lecturers who believe that this is their property and under
copyright, but usually a gentle reminder is sufficient and if things
become more serious, then we call in the Academic Registrar (Ihave
never had to do that yet!).
There is nothing I know of here that students sign to say they will
not sell on the notes. Many of the students work together and
support each other and it is not uncommon for a student with dyslexia
to take copies of a fellow students notes.
Hope this helps.
