Dear colleague,
I would like to invite you to participate in a multi-national survey on the employability of autistic university graduates.
The research is part of IMAGE, an Erasmus+ funded strategic partnership of Higher Education Institutions from 5 European countries (see www.imageautism.com). IMAGE aims to support autistic university students to appreciate and demonstrate their strengths to employers. The project moves away from a deficit model of autism and instead focus on skills development, self-advocacy and the sharing of good support practice amongst universities and employers.
Through this mapping survey we hope to gain a deep understanding of what helps and hinders autistic students from gaining graduate employment. This will feed into the creation of tools for students and training resources for professionals.
There are 5 variations of the survey, each targeting a different group. Please choose the one most appropriate to you (and share with your students, colleagues and networks):
1. For academics teaching autistic students: www.imageautism.com/academics-survey
2. For senior HE managers and policymakers: www.imageautism.com/senior-survey
3. For careers advisors and employability professionals in universities: www.imageautism.com/careers-advisor-survey
4. For employers: www.imageautism.com/employer-survey
5. For autistic university students and recent graduates: www.imageautism.com/student-survey
Note that these surveys will close at the end of Tuesday 7 May.
Many thanks for your help with this,
Dr Marc Fabri, IMAGE Project Lead
