Just as an update to this, have yesterda contacted the 6 suppliers who
come up on the QAG site as being able to offer this support in theory
for a student in East London and 5 so far have confirmed they're unable
to provide it (waiting for 1 response but am not very hopeful).
Do others have numbers of suppliers they've contacted in particular
areas of the country and how many have/have not been able to offer support?
Best wishes

I was contacted by an assessor yesterday who was desperately trying to locate someone to support a blind student. I've had three students so far this academic year who I can't source DSA-funded support for, one of whom I was able to help because his HEI have agreed to cover the costs which meant I could set him up with someone who is very experienced in this kind of work but doesn't meet the current QAG criteria.
