At the risk of answering the question ;-) I have used Data Masker http://www.datamasker.com/.
I compared it with a few other products (can't remember now) before purchasing a license.
At the time the main differentiator was cost - we couldn't afford the others and didn't have
time to roll our on solution (I understand quite a lot of people do this). That said Data Masker
did what it said on the tin.
