Dear All,
We will be running our next open-access courses on ‘Understanding the autism spectrum for Needs Assessors’ in April.
This practical course is aimed at professionals who perform DSA Assessments, or other assessments, within higher and further education settings.
The course includes an overview of the autism spectrum, information on providing an inclusive service for students with autism and suggestions of how to build upon current good practice.
The course will help you to:
-review your current practice in relation to students with autism
-meet legal responsibilities under the Equality Act
-ensure your assessments enable you to gain all relevant information.
-identify how students with autism can best be supported to access and participate in all aspects of higher education.
