Not something I've come across, but presumably you have a data
processing agreement with the provider which will allow you to insist on
security improvements and DP compliance...

Subject: [data-protection] Naming of files
We have recently introduced a print management system which uses a cloud
printing service. However files which have been sent to the cloud appear
in a print queue which can be viewed by anyone using the system. The
print queue displays the file name, eg FredBloggs_disciplinary.docx and
the username of the person who has sent the file to print.
I have advised staff to consider how files are named and to ensure file
names do not contain personal information which could identify an
individual but I have met with some resistance. I have also raised this
as an issue with the company providing the print management system to
identify whether there is a way the file name can be masked and am still
awaiting a response.
I am interested to know whether others have experienced similar problems
and how you have overcome it or if you have examples of good practice
you would be willing to share with me.
Many thanks in advance
Wendy
