It is interesting that nobody strongly disagreed against the use of the
video coupled to audio recordings, although some stated ethical codes
could determine the recordings should not have been made and fairness
should pertain in making people aware when any recordings are being
made.
Would the same apply to audio coupled to video recordings made
within all workplaces? Also thinking here of public spaces of all
sorts (aircraft, transport, shopping malls, streets, which are all
workplaces for someone.)
Thoughts which arise are:-
1. Is yes the
only acceptable answer, or to what extent are individual freedoms of
expression protected in work environments?
2. How is artistic
endeavour in the workplace censored?
I myself continue to consider
privacy as an individual thing, and not the socially expressed shadows
which merge together and effectively become nothing more than political
and legal impositions forming the social environment. However those
expressions are informative si I continue to use the term social
privacy to assist understanding.
