Dear All,
Further to the recent discussion on the forum about dyslexia evidence and the parent who had the dyslexia assessment accepted as evidence for DSA although her son was not actually 16, has anyone had any success with getting dyslexia reports accepted for pre- 16 students?
I have just seen a student who was 15 years, 10 months when he had the assessment and it seems pretty comprehensive. I'm inclined to give it ago and send it to SFE. As a small institution we don't have a lot of funds to meet the cost of dyslexia assessments (especially with reduced ALF funds) so if I can save on this one, it gives another student the opportunity to have an assessment.
Any comments/experiences gratefully received!
Thanks,
