I will be happy to forward this request to the ADSHE membership (all
members are specialist tutors) if that would be helpful.

Thanks

Hello everyone,

Currently we use Patoss's published list which is updated yearly and
hence not always accurate, available to buy from Patoss.

I would greatly appreciate it if replies to this question could be
emailed through the dis forum, if possible.

	Hello

At Loughborough, we provide specialist support for dyscalculia.
The Mathematics Education Centre (MEC) has been developing expertise in
this area for a number of years. We work in close collaboration with our
dyslexia support colleagues to provide a joined-up service. We have a
common approach with the same ethos and methods, employing
multi-sensory, active learning methods that include visual
representations and colour coding. The difference, of course, is that it
is number/mathematics based rather than text based.

Recently, resources for common numeracy topics have been
produced by Janette Matthews and are available on the ADSHE website
(members section). It is hoped that these resources will provide a
useful base for support tutors.

At Loughborough, we also run the Postgraduate Certificate in
Mathematics Support and Dyslexia/Dyscalculia in FE/HE. This is a one
year course accredited by the BDA. The next course is due to start in
May 2011 and the closing date for applications is 31st December 2010.
Full details are available on the course website
http://pgcert.lboro.ac.uk/

A dyscalculia screening tool (DysCalculiUM (Trott and
Beacham))will be available shortly through Iansyst. Details will be
posted to this list when available

The DDIG (Dyscalculia and Dyslexia Interest Group) web site also
has a number of resources and help.

	Hope this helps
