I saw the cctv on the news yesterday, but it didn't register (or maybe
they didn't say) how it had come into the public domain. Apparently it
was posted on Facebook in an attempt to identify the culprit
What's the Data Protection implications of this (as well as major news
channels running the clip before the lady was even interviewed by
police).
Is extra-judicial naming and shaming OK nowadays? (And the RSCPA only
say it *may* be an offence, so the lady must be presumed innocent, as is
the way in this country).
