Hi Simon,
One of my students is having the same issue, but with the claim for
reimbursement forms.
I asked SFE for an accessible version, but they just sent me the same
PDF that is on the website. I was wondering if I was being daft, but
perhaps not if we are in the same situation? I have asked them to send
me a version accessible to screen reading software, so If I get one, I
will be sure to forward it on to you!

Subject: Electronic DSA forms
I hope someone can help, or tell me if I am just being a bit daft!
I have recently downloaded the new 10/11 long and short DSA forms. I
have always previously been able to fill these out electronically, but
for some reason I don't seem to be able to with these new ones. As I am
Visually impaired filling them in this way with my students is the only
way I can do them. I know that my colleague has a copy of a short DSA
form that you can still do this with but some boxes are set to type in
font 78, and you can't enter dates.
I am not sure if this is being caused by the copy of the form I have,
like I say down loaded from the direct Gov website, or if it is the
settings on my PDF viewer, or perhaps Teesside's PC's. I have sent a
message to SFE asking about this, but just wondered if anyone had any
bright ideas!
Thanks,
