Subject: Access to Work issues and networking event - open invitation to meeting
Apologies for cross-posting
Dear all,
A brief background....
I have recently been speaking with Marie Norris from Clearlinks about some of the common issues we share in dealing with Access to Work. This ranges from concerns about the accessibility of claim forms, to the somewhat late notice we were given about the changes to employer contributions.
Marie and I have both provided feedback to Access to Work managers on an individual basis, but feel that it would be of benefit if we were to present these as a shared 'voice'.
Accordingly, I'm trying to gauge people's interest in meeting to discuss these issues, and also to provide an opportunity for those of us involved in disabled staff support to network and share experiences. The University of Manchester would be happy to host this meeting.
If you would be interested in attending, could you possibly reply to me off-list? If there proves to be sufficient interest, I'll then post further details.
Many thanks for your time
Louise
