I appreciate that our Social Care dept may have an interest in the missing
persons, but is the data sharing legal ? The plan is to text (160 characters
max) selected outdoor staff with a brief description of the missing person
in the hope that on their travels they may spot them. The margin of error is
considerable in my opinion.
Whilst in an ideal world all public bodies should data share and work
together for the general good, I feel that the police are clutching at
exemptions in order for us to do some of their footwork. The data is also
sensitive as it identifies the person as vulnerable.- physical, mental
health or condition.
Thanks

Sorry but I can't work out if that's a statement in support of, or
against, Brenda's scheme.
Roland.
