Keeping people on board:
In our DES, we have an outline of who's who in that focus group. We have a
senior member of staff, student rep, staff rep and so on. There are no
restrictions to other students and staff and they are welcome to join. I have
fortunately managed to get a senior member of staff in the group to ensure
the scheme gets some clout. The scheme is signed off by our Principal, Vice
Principal and Chair of Governing board, so it's taken seriously by staff.
Maintaining an input:
I think it's important to create an action plan from an input, so that it doesn't
get lost along the way.
