I have just come across a recent report on "All body scanners" produced by
the Privacy Commissioner of Ontario. The importance of this document is that
it sets out various privacy standards for their use.
News reporting blog item on "Privacy Commissioner states that full body
scanners can avoid data protection problems" on
http://amberhawk.typepad.com/
Reference: "Whole Body Imaging in Airport Scanners: Building in Privacy by
Design", Dr. Anne Cavoukian, June 2009".

I missed this report when doing my earlier blog - hence the update

Subject: Happy New Year and all body scanners and data protection
If interested in this topical subject, I did a data protection analysis for
my blog in early November.
How "see-through" scanners are subject to data protection rules

All the best
