Dear all,
Is this currently an actual requirement - have SLC required this to happen and if so where is this documented?
Sorry if I have missed something obvious - but I did place a query earlier about the formal status and notification of the requirements of the SLC - where is the formal documentation and requirement for the changes. Currently the only item I have been pointed to is an FAQ webpage.
We appear to be working in the dark. I am finding it very hard to update business plans and formal procedural manuals with no concrete point of reference.
Regards

As it is as you say a student funded through SLC (Student Finance Direct
in Darlington), suggest send the review to SFD along with a
recommendation / request for additional sessions. With the
recommendation based on and supported by the evidence that you are
presenting in the review. Similar to as one would for a DSA Needs
assessment. Perhaps best not to go too overboard with the recommendation
for additional sessions, as further review at a later date, appropriate
to the case, perhaps ought to be carried out.

Subject: 10 hour review
Dear colleagues
We have just completed our first 10 hour review for a student funded via
the SLC - as required by them...does anyone have any idea at all where
we should send it or who we should tell???
Many thanks
