Dear all
It would be useful to hear from anyone who deals with students on
placement (in the UK) to find out what their institution's procedure
for disclosure to the placement provider is. Has anyone been operating
on the principle that disclosure to the HE institution counts as
disclosure to the placement provider (whether or not explicit consent
is given)? Has anyone been operating on the principle that students
can dislose to the HE institution but request that their disability
not be disclosed to the placement provider? The latter is particularly
relevant to students (such as nurses) who are likely to be working at
their placement when they graduate.
Thanks
