A disability adviser here would certainly be able to discuss
this with the relevant academic department concerned well in
advance -early in the academic year -, and, on the basis of
the student's disability, probably be able agree a
deferment of exams, if a late summer re-sit session was
available, as not all departments offer this option, even as
a deferred first sit.
