As far as I am aware she would just be able to transfer and funding
would also be transferred. Would have thought the best person to check
with is the DSA /student Finance contact at her LEA.

Subject: Re: loans/fees/ and disability-chronic illness
Please can anyone advise on fee/funding/loan issues.
Scenario is that a first year student with chronic illness and DSA has
needed to change course because they could not manage the number of
hours required, having only completed one semester of this academic
year. Student advised to start a different course the following year.
What is their fee/loan/ and dsa money status. Will they have to repay
loan and fees for autumn semester 2007 now, will they have to repay
DSA monies or carry that over to next year? What will happen
regarding a loan for the further year of study etc -taking the
original 4yrs to 5yrs. What is the best source for clarification of
these issues?
Thanx from a muddled person
