Our security staff are required to hold a Security Industry Authority, (SIA)
Door Supervisor licence.
They must have one of a number of qualifications before they can apply for a
front-line door supervisor's licence.
We opted for the British Institute of Innkeeping (BIIAB)qualification, but
all the training leading to the various qualifications include conflict
management modules.
We use an external training provider who delivers the training on campus and
I would recommend them.
The company is called Innpacked

Alternatively the website has lists of training providers
The link below shows those in the north west

Subject: Training for Security Staff
Dear All
Does anyone provide training for their security/ porter staff on areas such
as conflict management - specifically around dealing with physical violence,
drunk students, violence etc.
If anyone could recommend a supplier or suppliers that would be very useful
Kind regards
