Hello! We positively state that students must not bring cars to College.
The Disabilities Office has an allocation for Blue badge holders,
students, staff and visitors.
Academic departments have an allocation of spaces to allocate as they
deem fit.
Sometimes students become temporarily disabled and are brought in by
parents or flatmates and with the support of their department, plus
professional eg Doctor, we would allow parking on a temporary basis if
we/I have the space.
We would definitely do all we could to allow parking for a student with
a problem travelling because of a disability, to sit exams, if space is
available on whichever site.
Hope this helps, Loretto O'Callaghan, Disabilities Officer, Imperial
College London.

Subject: car parking
As ever, car parking on site is tight, and our HEI has asked students
in accommodation not to bring cars. Do other institutions allow
parking to disabled students without a blue badge? e.g. with hidden
conditions such as CFS?
