Folks
Just caught tail end of an item on You and Yours (BBC Radio 4) discussing
a) UK Information Commissioner's reprimand of Orange for use of shared
passwords in their call centre
b) Whether this was tip of iceberg of poor DP/Security practices or just
an isolated incident
(Only a problem if you have suffered Identity Theft?)
c) Whether IC should get unannounced Audit powers (as some other
European countries provide their equivalents)
and
inviting listeners to contact them [ eg using
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/youandyours/youandyours_contact.shtml )
if they have views on this....
Far be it for me to encourage list members to voice their opinions on
such a forum...
See website and/or use listen again for up to a week...
