Hi Marie, contact CLASS based in Cambridge in the first instance and
they will no doubt be able to direct you appropriately. I am sure there
are other organisations (?) nearer to Sheffield, but I have liaised
with CLASS in the past when based down there. I have also dealt with
similar case, contact me off line if you wish....

Subject: Aspergers diagnosis
Dear all,
I wondered if anyone knows how to go about getting an Aspergers
diagnosis without going through the NHS route. A friend of mine began
the process via the NHS system, however for various reasons he does not
want to carry on with that. It would be really helpful if someone could
advise on another approach for him.
Best wishes, Marie
