I thought that The Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive)
Regulations 2003 relate to fax email SMS, MMS and telephone calls - so
how do we classify the use of Bluetooth sending users contact lists. I
suppose the test is, `is Bluetooth contact sending a public
communication service' - I guess not. Mind you the "zapping" Tim refers
to may be different to my understanding.
I do have to say that the regs do make me feel somewhat lost in them at
times.

This clearly breaches the Regulations. I was planning to sue CNN over
their bluetooth spam at London City (LCY) airport!!
Just found better things to do ....
