Hi Louise,
ALF, is the Access to Learning fund, put simply, a pot of money normally
held by an institution that provides payments to students, normally via
an application, to assist them to access higher education.
For example, students can apply for grants to pay for one off purchases
or payments, such as rent areas, or perhaps to help them get out of a
violet relationship. We normally do this via our ALF tem and our
finance advisers.
