My main concern is not that people have my data but how secure it is. Not
just from casual disclosure to other parties who may send me endless junk
mail, but through hacking. A chap at work this week found payments of over
£ 800.00 having gone out of his bank paying one popular internet company.
When he queried it, they said that someone must have stolen his account
details from them as that is the only way someone else could have used his
account. They gave him the destination addresses to which the goods had
been sent and he's reported it to the police and cancelled his bank card.
