Iain Bourne of the ICO has just sent me on behalf of IMTS and NAIM a
copy of
the new guidance on council tax. It is interesting to note that the
first
sentence in paragraph two still acknowledges that the LGFA still applies
and
he has, quite rightly, only looked at it from the DPA view point. I have
also heard from the DCLG that this issue is unlikely to be addressed
until
after the publication of the Lyons report later this year.
