Personally, my advice would be "don't do it"!!! But then I have always
been very anti-CRM, so don't listen to me..... I think CRM is a great
tool for the private sector, but it simply doesn't suit the public
sector nearly as well, particularly when you only get approval for a
tenth of the budget you'd actually like! But, as it wasn't my decision
to make, we do have a CRM system (of sorts) and we did write to a number
of our contacts to inform them that their details would be transferred
onto the new CRM system. I have sent a copy to Helen direct (as
jiscmail won't accept attachments). If anyone else wants a copy, please
contact me off-list.
