You might save yourself an enormous amount of time by simply discussing
the matter with the Director concerned (remember under S16 you have a
"duty to consult"). If he doesn't object to having his
CV/qualifications disclosed, then who are you to say otherwise. I
personally think that any senior employee worth their salt would want to
protect both their own and their employer's reputation by proving that
there was nothing untoward about the manner in which they were
recruited.

A request has been made under FOI as to whether a Director has a certain
qualification and also to view his CV. I think that the CV is personal
data ans falls under the DP exemption. I feel we can supply a Job
specification for the post. What about confirming the qualification or
not
