In the past I have found it really useful in cases such as these to get
in touch with a supplier such as Barry Bennett or Micro link. They will
check compatibility and support level with the manufacturers. I have
found this to save a lot of time. After all they are the experts. It
may be that a number of packages will be need in order to cope with the
various demands of the course software.
Hope this helps

Apologies for cross posting
Hi all,
Does anyone have any experience with supporting a blind student
(totally blind screen-reader user) studying for a software development
qualification.
They would be expected to use applications such as Visual C++, Borland
C++, Select Case tool and other applications which rely heavily on the
user having sight.
I'd also be interested hearing from anyone who has supported students
through modules such as Human Computer Interaction, and Network
Communications courses.
Cheers
John
