This should have gone out last week but we had e-mail problems.

Well there's an understatement :-)) Last year someone sent out spam to
thousands of people with the object of overwhelming our mail server with
messages from recipients wondering what was going on. Messages from a large
number of recipients (including myself at home) to the ISP's abuse address
were ignored. It took a personal letter from me to the Chairman of the PLC
which owns the ISP plus the involvement of a regional newspaper before the
ISP did anything about it.

I'm sure the company involved - a major PLC - would claim to be legitimate.
