The Commissioners view is precisely the opposite - ie a photograph does
not constitute sensitive personal data (at least within the context of
which this strand started) and racial or ethnic origin cannot be
inferred from such.
In respect of putting photographs on the intranet, provided its part of
normal organisational requirement you should be OK but you'll still need
to provide the data subject with an opt-out facility.
