Exactly! They are dodgy therefore it would make not a dot of difference if a
person has credits or not.

This person reads spam rather than just delete it. ... Unless the emails indicate
clearly that they do know something about this person (eg. now that you got
your credit level 2 for country dancing, you can obtain a PhD with a simple
phone call etc) no data have got to them.
Do the email indicate knowledge of REAL data?
As far telling the student how to stop spam ... it is funny :-)
